Admission of Clients

Clients may be accepted for a minimum commitment of 18 months; however, completion of the program is based on the completion of the treatment objects as outlined in the individual treatment plan. Actual length of time in the program is dependant upon the client’s progress and participation. Clients may stay for extended periods up to three years. There are no exclusions based on age, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, religion, or lack of religion. Alpha Recovery staff will conduct a personal screening interview with all prospective clients and appropriateness for admission will be determined on an individual basis. Only those who are willing to seek recovery shall be admitted. Upon approval for admission, clients are requested to have the following recent treatment records forwarded to Alpha Recovery, if available: diagnostic summary (with Multi-Axial Assessment), social history, treatment plan, and aftercare plan, TB screening, RPR, and medication list, if applicable. On the day of admission to Alpha Recovery, staff will conduct an entry interview with each client to include a personal data history, fee contract agreement, rules and regulations agreement, other applicable paperwork and placement.

House Arrest Program

Although Alpha Recovery Centers does not provide this service directly, both the Atlanta and the Brunswick facilities are available for this technology. Clients who are mandated for House Arrest will need to arrange for local telephone service in their name but billed to an appropriate billing address. The Client should contract with the private monitoring company directly that provides the electronic monitoring service. If the electronic monitoring service is provided by a governmental agency, the client is still responsible for the local telephone service.
